RPG JD
RAS team needs a highly motivated Analyst Programmer to work on multiple new projects.
• He/She will be responsible for the technical analysis and designing of the GFAS application with respect to new requirements
• The candidate will need to do impact analysis of the changes to the existing application and will have to come out with estimates and design
• The successful candidate will be expected to guide the development and support teams on technology, make technical recommendations, and provide robust, scalable and fit-for-purpose frameworks for software products developed by the team.
• In addition, he/she would be expected to liaise with and contribute to various technology councils, and assist in technical issues resolution specifications as driven by the business needs.
Job Requirements
• 3-5 years of industry experience with exposure to complete life cycle of development at least twice.
• Proven track records for an AS/400 related application development.
• Knowledge of DB2 concepts and associated methodologies.
• Knowledge of industry standard project management and methodologies
• Knowledge of trouble shooting during various phases of development.
• Understanding design concepts on AS/400 platform with respect to performance.
• Understanding of Web and emerging technologies
• Operates largely independently, with some guidance on complex or difficult issues
