Embedded Developer
Qualification:
- Graduate degree in Engineering or equivalent (oComputer / IT / Electronics)
- Masters in Engineering is preferable.
- B. Tech. + 6 to 8 years / M. Tech. + 4 to 6 years of experience in software engineering with exposure to world class engineering systems
Responsibilities:
- Code, test and debug embedded system software
- Develop low level drivers for microcontroller and other hardware peripherals
- Integrate low level software with application code
- Interface with hardware design team & contribute to requirements definition & selection of MCU
- Interface with testing team & contribute to system test case generation
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong Embedded C Skills on Basic SW / Device driver's
- Must be skilled in designing system software such as system clock configuration, interrupt handling, scheduler development, etc.
- Solid experience in developing low level drivers for MCU peripherals such as Client, SPI, Timers etc. is required
- Experience in developing/implementing BLDC Motor Control Algorithms and SW coding is mandatory
- Understanding of hardware interfaces along with basic troubleshooting skills are required, including the ability to handle multi-meters, oscilloscopes etc.
- Experience in software development for Hybrid/Electric Vehicle systems is preferred
- Experience with 16 Bit/32 Bit Freescale/ Infineon families of MCUs would be helpful
