Linux Admin
- Having good knowledge on at least 2 Operating systems(Client-UX/Linux/Solaris/AIX)
- Install, configure, maintain, manage, and troubleshoot UNIX based OS and associated components such as the OS, File System, hardware issues, kernel and OS performance, DNS, network-attached storage,
- The resource will be responsible for Building/Decommissioning Servers, OS Patching, User Management, server management, File System management, Server side Storage Management, Service Management (incident & change), etc,.
- Setting up and maintaining UNIX user accounts and access management systems.
- Detecting and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Responding to user requests and software errors.
- Monitoring the performance of the system and server.
- Creating backup and recovery policies.
- Applying patches and upgrades when necessary.
- Knowledge of Shell scripting / Python/Ansible will be a plus.
- Provide 24x7 support to resolve outages and performance degradations and provide after-hours support for scheduled and unscheduled support to include working non-prime shifts.
- Experience in working in Azure platform
- Any Unix certification
- Azure certification
- Proficiency in scripting .
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and responsible.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Up-to-date with trends and developments in Unix administration
