Job Description:
Role Description:
- Good knowledge in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts;
- Coding; reviewing; testing and debugging
- Understanding of Data Lakes and Data Lake Architectures best practices in data storage, loading, retrieving data from data lakes. Should have delivered at least 1 project in Azure Data Lake
- Experience in Designing and plan BI solutions, Debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutions, Creating and deploying reports and Writing relational and multidimensional database queries.
- Ability to conduct Assessment, estimation and define high level data integration strategy for end customer.
- Domain knowledge in couple of verticals is mandatory.
- Ability to develop and maintain pipelines in Azure Data Factory understand best practices of bringing on-prem data to the cloud. File loading, compression, parallelization of loads etc.
- Substantial hands-on experience with Analysis Services development, testing and deployment, with a focus on SQL Server Analysis Services (Tabular) and DAX
- Working knowledge and/or understanding of Azure-based tools and services that support data storage, e.g. Azure SQL, Blob and Table Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Bricks
- Working knowledge and/or experience with Power BI and related tools
- Any experience in NOSQL environment is a plus.
- Azure Analytics Platform-2+ Years
- Azure Analytics Platform / Microsoft BI Support-2-3 Years
- Lead a team of developers-3-4 Years
Special skills / requirements if any
Strong experience on development and maintenance on Azure Analytics Platform
Expert knowledge in .NET, C#, SQL, Web API is a plus
Additional desirable tech skills
Must be proficient with SQL, T/SQL and SQL database
Additional ETL tool experience is an advantage.
