Job description
Responsibilities
WebMethods Support job – Night shift & weekend support ready candidates with prior experience in production support would preferred
- Strong experience of webMethods applications Support and Monitoring activities.
- Respond and provide quick fix for unusual behavior of applications performance based on availability alerts on an application(s) or interface scheduler jobs(s) when sensed as "down” or "slow”.
- Check, execute, manage and support day-to-day application support activities via ticketing tool and mails.
- Daily, weekly and monthly integrations transactions report status on a regular basis in a standard format.
- Maintain support documentation and create missing support documentation when required.
- Ability to prioritize and work on several tasks at any given time.
- Ability to interact with different functional areas with excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or any equivalent
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in webMethods components such as MWS, Integration Server, Trading Network, Broker, Designer etc.
- Proven experience in webMethods integration development with webservices soap/xml, rest/json, jdbc & sap adapters, filepoling, sftp, EDI, TN.
- Sound understanding of IT software development life cycle and project management methodologies
- An understanding of the change management process in the SDLC of IT projects and support
