J2EE Development Practitioner

Job Description:

• Develops and integrates IT solutions (e.g. application module code, purchased package customization) by using appropriate development methodologies and standards, adopting/applying standard architectures/patterns, taking into account critical performance characteristics, security measures and customer requirements
• Collaborates with others (e.g. System Designer/Analysts, Architects, Senior Developer) to establish the physical application framework (e.g. libraries, reuse modules, development environments)
• Ensures the development and execution of unit test and integration plans and scripts to validate that
• application modules meet technical specifications
• Ensures technical inspections are performed at appropriate stages of development
• Leads creation of production support documentation
• Works with others (e.g. Operations, System Designer/Analysts, Developers) to prepare and stage production builds, and verify production releases meet technical and business expectations
• Leads data migration/conversion activities
• Provides technical leadership and mentoring to developers, and leads the technical application development/integration of IT solutions

 

Skills Required:

• 4 to 6 years Experience in JAVA EE development, performance tuning of multi-tiered java applications
• Experience in Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration Relational databases knowledge e.g. MSSQL, Oracle.
• Knowledge in Active Directory Woking experice in Agile delivery methodology
• Experience working in Java projects and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) will be preferred
• Experience with tools and frameworks commonly utilized by agile developers such as:
• Java web components, REST, Web services, Struts, Spring boot and Angular JS
• Testing: JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber
• Automated Build: Gradle, Jenkins
• Code Analysis: Sonarqube, Sonargraph, FindBugs
• IDE: Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Backlog tool: CA central (Rally)
• A source code-repository: Accurev / GIT

 

Experience Required:

• 4 to 6 years Experience in JAVA EE development, performance tuning of multi-tiered java applications

 

Experience Preferred:

• Having Access management / IAM Domain knowledge will be an added advantage

 

Education Required:

• BE/ BTECH/ MSC/MCA/BSC
