QA Analyst

This role is responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of User Acceptance testing on simple to complex implementations. The Quality Assurance analyst works collaboratively with both the business partners and technology teams to ensure that test strategy include both functional and non-functional requirements. The candidate will work with other quality engineers to probe on methodology, correctness and effectiveness of the test executed and guide the technology teams and business partners. The role would develop test plans, test cases and test scripts for projects, among other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

Conducts UAT, end-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure that business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC. Should be able to estimate the work given with fair degree of accuracy

Designs and Executes test scripts based upon test strategy/plans to identify defects prior to production. Tests may be manual or automated or both.

Awareness of testing tools like Client Quality Center, JIRA and testing methodologies

Coordinating with multiple support groups to get the issues resolved in a quick turnaround time.

Knowledge in tools like Selenium, Client UFT (Lean FT) or similar software test automation tools.

Creating test strategy and test approach, designing test cases/ scenarios.

Ensure compliance of testing methods and participation in the Software testing lifecycle.

Should have experience in Database and Web testing. Experience in both is a MUST HAVE.

Preferable

Experience in Client Quality Center, QTP, Selenium, Experience into finance domain.

Experience working in an Agile or Continuous Delivery environment.

Experience applying new technologies to business needs in a technologically innovative, change-driven organization.

Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames.
