Database Administrator
Technical & Functional Skills
Responsible for management of database repository, creation, deletion, modification, backup and restore of databases and their tables
Must have technical certification in Data Base Administration.
Knowledge in Application Management, IIS, Dot net,Php
Knwoledge on VM and Clustering/ software licensing
Responsible for database administration, should be responsible for database and application change management procedure
Responsible for management of database repository, creation,deletion, modification, backup and restore of databases and their tables.SLA managmement and strong troubleshooting skills in DBA, Indexing.
Responsible for database Administration and approved change Management procedures involving Databases.
- Responsible for Management of database schemas, updates, backup and restore of databases and their tables, indexes etc
as well as grant of Security privileges to DB users as per approvals
- Responsible for database backup & recovery, troubleshooting, performance tuning and Management of high availability solutions
- Responsible for installation and configuration of database instances
- Responsible for Monitoring of database Servers including logs
- Monitoring & Management of database replication to other instances/DR site as applicable
- Responsible for raising Tickets with DB OEM and Coordinating the Resolution of ticket
- Escalation to Operations manager for any issues and critical matter
Knowledge on ISO documentation and process and TPA management.
Knowledge on Web hosting services
Resolve all crticial issues within SLA.
