Specialty Development Senior

Job Description:

• As a AI Engineer, you will formulate approaches to solve problems using well-defined algorithms and data sources.
• You will develop, train, and deploy AI models using machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning techniques.
• You will incorporate an understanding of product functionality and customer perspective to provide context for those problems.
• You will use data exploration techniques to discover new questions or opportunities within your problem area and propose applicability and limitations of the data.
• Successful AI Engineer will present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using compelling visualizations and data-driven insights to influence product and service improvements.
• You'll stay at the forefront of AI advancements, researching and exploring new techniques and technologies to identify potential solutions for emerging challenges.
• You will engage with peer stakeholders to produce clear, compelling, actionable output that influences product and service improvements.

 

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (e.g., Computer science, Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Applied Mathematics, IT)
• 5+ years of experience of statistical, ML methods and their proper application e.g., Supervised and Unsupervised techniques, NLP.
• 5+ years of experience using (e.g., R, SAS, Spark, Python, Java tools)
• Experience working in a cross-functional, agile product team environment/analytic delivery team.
• 5+ years of experience in Automotive, Transportation, Digital Business, or Analytics Consulting
• 5+ years of experience acting as the senior technical lead helping facilitate analytical/technical discussions on solution tradeoffs for new feature implementations.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (GCP) is a plus

 

Skills Preferred:

• Master’s Degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field of Data Science, Applied Mathematics, IT)
• 2+ years of NLP, Recommender systems, Gen AI/LLM’s, Computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Experience with NLP libraries and tools like NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, or Gensim
• Experience with computer vision libraries like OpenCV, PyTorch Vision, or TensorFlow Object Detection API.
• 2+ years of experience with popular AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
• Expertise in open-source data science technologies such as Python, R, Spark, SQL, etc. acquired through college course work, online training and certification or project development
• Conduct research and stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong understanding of ethical considerations in AI development.
• Passion for AI and a desire to make a real-world impact.
• Ability to work under pressure, establish priorities and respond with urgency.
• Highly seasoned in organizational, time management, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity working with Automotive OEM/ connected vehicle data & relevant infrastructure
• Familiarity working with big data to develop scalable, production-ready solutions

 

Experience Required:

• 4 - 8 years
