UNIX/LINUX Admin
Skill Required:
- Overall 4+ years of relevant work experience in supporting enterprise level Servers e.g Client DL-380, DL-580,IBM P780, etc.
- Should have good knowledge of user management, file system management, Disk management, system health check, system Monitoring and troubleshootin
- Should have good Knowledge of volume manager like (LVM/ VXVM etc.).
- Should have knowledge of various UNIX O/S platform e.g. Red Hat Linux, IBM AIX, Cent O/S etc
- Should have Basic knowledge of VERITAS Clustering technology
- Should have Basic Knowledge of Veritas file system management.
- Should have Basic knowledge of Storage/SAN and good knowledge of troubleshooting SAN Related issues for OS.
- Should have analytical and problem solving capabilities, ability to work with teams
- Should have knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware
- Exposure towards basic database and database high availability requirement
- Exposure towards networking and network load balancing technologies.
