Ø  Experienced technical analyst with an excellent record in a Senior Windows analyst role
Ø  Ability to communicate ideas & solutions to audiences of all levels and nationalities, adapting style accordingly.
Ø  Ability to pass on relevant I.T. knowledge to others. 
Ø  Willingness/ability to undertake necessary routine day-to-day tasks
Ø  Ability to work on projects delivering technology into a distributed environment,
Ø  Strong, Demonstrable skills with  the following technologies:
•         Virtualisation on the VMWare ESX platform
•         Strong Windows Server 2003 / 2008 Install & Configuration skills
•         Strong Windows Server Clustering Technologies
•         Strong Windows client Install, Configuration & Troubleshooting skills
•         Strong Microsoft Exchange Install, Configuration & Troubleshooting skills
•         Strong Microsoft Lync Install, Configuration & Troubleshooting skills
 
Ø  Netflow analysis
Ø  Firewall rules creation
Ø  Firewall tidy up. (identifying and deleting rules no longer required)
Ø  General TID completion (see attached for one of the latest TIDs)
Ø  Defect resolution (following wave migration)
Ø  Assisting on day of wave migration
 
Ø  In addition, the following is highly desirable:
•         Flexibility and willingness to work contracted hours to meet the needs and demands of the project, including out of hours working where required
  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Ø  Carry out project work, and provide third tier support activities in accordance with agreed service levels and business demand.
Ø  Plan, Co-ordinate and assist with the implementation of Windows hardware and software upgrades on the current application platforms.
Ø  Assist in the planning, testing and implementation of externally supplied software.
Ø  Help ensuring that the introduction of new technologies, architectures and strategies are implemented with no impact to agreed service levels.
Ø  Provide technical advice and guidance on internal and external software to both AXA Tech, Application Development and Business staff.
Ø  Proactively identify and assist with the evaluation of emerging technologies that will lead to a reduction in costs or an improvement in service.
Ø  Proactively identify and implement improvements to the way in which Windows systems achieve or improve upon associated service level targets and meet business requirements team targets.
Ø  Assist with ensuring that the Windows team meet full compliance of FAST, SOX and any other Business processes.
Ø  Exploit the current product set cost-effectively.
Ø  Ability to resolve detailed technical problems and deal with non-standard requests
Ø  Detailed understanding of a broad range of relevant technologies
Ø  Ability to pass on relevant I.T. knowledge to others
Ø  Ability to make technical recommendations based on analysis
Ø  Provide support for the Contingency team in carrying out contingency tests.
Ø  Ensure changes to current standards are documented and assess the impact of proposed changes.
