3+ years of exp in application repackaging and deployment.
Should have good application analysis skills and must be familiar with Windows Installer Packaging Standards.
Should have worked in Windows Installer 6.0.
Rich exp in Admin Studio/Orca/Picture Taker is must.
Should be good in troubleshooting the applications compatibility testing with Windows 10.
Good knowledge on tools like ORCA, Filemon, Regmon, process monitor, Picture taker and should know writing custom actions using Vbscript, batch files.
Experience in developing installation packages using one or more of the common packaging technologies Admin Studio and Windows Installer (MSI, MST, conflict Management, VB Script, Custom actions).
Resolving DLL conflicts, registry settings, recognizing applications related problems Windows Command line knowledge[Cacls, Xcacls, Regsvr32 etc].
Creating transforms for customizing existing windows installer packages.
Repackaging Experience of Desktop Applications.
Experience in Operating System/Office system O365s, Deployment, Migration.
Prepare relevant documentation such as known errors, solutions, major incident reports that will help in continuous improvement.
Experience in Powershell.
Application Compatibility testing and Software Distribution.
System Centre Configuration Manager Packages/App Model (Experience on scheduling pushes on to the client machines from SCCM/SMS Console, run reports & queries).
