ServiceNow ITOM/ITAM Resource
Position: ServiceNow ITOM/ITAM Resource
Remote
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) ensuring accuracy and completeness of configuration items (CIs).
- Oversee Event Management processes, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Conduct Discovery activities to identify and populate CIs within the CMDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and objectives.
- Provide hands-on expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM) tools and platforms.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to CMDB, Event Management, and Discovery processes.
- Analyze and optimize CMDB data quality and integrity.
- Support integration efforts between ITOM/ITAM systems and other IT tools and platforms.
- Participate in ITIL-based service management practices and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining CMDB, Event Management, and Discovery processes.
- Hands-on expertise with ITOM tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Certifications such as ITIL, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, or equivalent are a plus.
