Oracle Database Admin
Job Description:
• Experience on Oracle Database Administration
• Should have worked extensively on Production systems
• Experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching
• Should have good understanding of Oracle internal architecture and performance tunings
• Skills to troubleshoot the issues and provide Root cause analysis report
• Should be able to understand the application requirements and design the database architecture to meet that.
• Should be able to perform the impact analysis on the database, application level changes
• Backup and Recovery Strategies using RMAN and Database cloning techniques
• Flash Recovery Features & Flash back query
• Managing Alerts and Notifications
• Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) Configuration and Management
• Data Guard Configuration and Management
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administration skills
• Administration of DBCS, ExaCS, ADW and ATP on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Database Encryption with OKV or similar products
• Good Verbal & Written Communication skills
Secondary Skills –
• Unix Servers Administration
• Other RDMBS like DB2 and Mysql Administration Good to have –
• Working Experience/Knowledge on Exadata systems and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
