On the technical side:


• Skilled in Java and more programming or scripting languages and ability to get hands on with our coding stack quickly


• Has implemented architecture patterns to refactor / rewrite applications in distributed environment


• Has implemented or familiar with Micro Services architectures including Event based data propagation


• Exposure to scalable and resilient systems in Cloud environments


• Familiar with Containerization – image management, deployment and operations


• Collaborates well with multiple teams in a remote working setup


• Strong English language skills and the communication capabilities to use it effectively in the workplace.



 

Skills

Below is a partial snapshot of our tech stack. You will need to be skilled with enough of

this to be confident working in this environment.

Must Have (4 or more skills)

1. Strong Java & SpringBoot development and troubleshooting skills

2. Knowledge of Java unit test and mocking frameworks (JUnit / Mockito).

3. API development experience including swagger and OAUTH or JWT based API

Security

4. Experienced in at least one RDBMS or one NoSQL database

5. Jenkins or AzureDevOps or equivalent pipeline configuration and scripting for CI

and CD

6. Understanding of the Quality of Service (* ability) and measuring NFRs in

Production

7. Conversant with Unix Platform or Windows Server

Good to have (optional)

1. API Management experience on API Connect or Google Apigee, WSO2 or other

API gateway

2. Kubernetes or OpenShift Administration preferably for Cloud Native DEV

3. One of the scripting Languages (Unix Shell / Python )

4. Familiarity with Core Banking platforms and the banking business domain.

5. Exposure to ReactJS
