Job Title: PostgreSQL DBA-L2
Exeprience: 5 Years
Work Location: Bangalore
Job Description:
- Having around 5 years of experience as PostgreSQL Database Administrator and Consultant.
- Have good experience in Planning, Installation and Configuration of PostgreSQL 9.6/10/11
- Having good Knowledge on Creation of database instances AWS RDS, creation of security groups, parameter groups.
- Have good experience in taking backups (logical and physical) using tools like pg_basebackup, pg_dump, pg_dumpall.
- Have good experience in configuring barman tool to take backups of multiple PostgreSQL servers into a common server.
- Have experience in performing PITR (Point in time recovery) based on requirement.
- Configuration of Streaming replication between Production and the DR servers
- Installation of Replication Manager to automate the switchover and switchback installing PostgreSQL database server using repmgr.
- Involved in modifying various existing functions and Triggers according to the new requirement.
