Power BI Developer

Job duties
Work with  business partners to identify, understand, and translate key metrics into high quality analytics solutions.
Create and execute SQL DB queries to format, load and fetch data from databases required for business reports.
Ability to turn BI requirements into impactful dashboards aimed at displaying large amounts of data in a way to drive better, more informed decisions.
Build effective charts and visualizations and best in class analytics dashboards primarily using Microsoft Power BI.
Develop apps using the Power apps platform and provide automation solution
Evaluate, improve, Diagnose report issues and performance tune existing reports and dashboards
Skills required

• Loading data to Power BI – Various sources SQL, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive
• Dataset creation & handling – refresh
• OnPrem - Gateway config & understanding
• Creating relationships & data models
• Charts creation & reason behind to use chart type.
• DAX expressions & functions
• Slicers & Bookmarks
• Selection Pane handling
• Page navigation
• Drill down & Drill through
• Buttons
• Fluent in creating measure & column
• Dataflow understanding
• Row Level Security
• Custom Tooltip Pages
• Custom Visuals from App source
• Knowledge on UI
• Power BI App creation & permission
• Publish report

• Strong in DDL,DML commands
• Able to Create Complex Store Procedure to build framework
