• Review supplier contracts ensuring any commercial risks are highlighting and communicating to the business and where possible mitigating those risks
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
• Developing procurement plans for assigned commodities and items incorporating negotiation strategies and tactics consistent with the needs of the business
• Providing relevant information to management for tracking of cost reductions/savings
• Working with category manager for strategic planning for IT hardware and software requirements
• Responsible to track, follow up and resolve all appropriate PR and PO issues to ensure process compliance.
• Developing strong relationships with local internal customers and serving as the focal point for all procurement and sourcing activities for the local business
• Maintain purchase order tracking procedures for statistical submission and evaluation of spend.
• Spend Analysis for India & Corporate leaders proactively providing reports, identifying cost efficiency opportunities and ideas to save Cost / reduce inventory / improve supplier performance.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Purchase function in India
• Collaboration with Global Team, NTTs Global plants and Global suppliers to achieve cost competitive purchasing within stipulated time line, with good quality
• Arrange the sample material for fulfilling the stakeholder requirements..
• Providing local Procurement support for the rollout of SAP and Ariba system
• Fulfillment in short timeframes for stakeholder requirement
