Tableau Admin
- Experience in administering tableau servers.
- Strong experience as a Core Tableau Admin
- Strong knowledge on the Tableau Architecture
- Strong experience in end to end Tableau Administration
- Proficient in Installation and configuration of new tableau server (Good to have)
- Experience in server upgrade activities and clear understanding on the prerequisites for the server upgrades.
- Experience in Tableau platform sizing, troubleshooting, tuning and disaster recovery.
- Ability to architect a stable Tableau solution guaranteed for high operational availability.
- Experience in Tableau scripting (TABCMD and TABADMIN)
- Experience in user authentications and user access management (Add / modify/ delete users & Security)
- Experience in server maintenance activities (e.g. cleanup and create backups of the database)
- Experience in monitoring server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues
- Responsible for administrating Tableau environment as a primary technical point of contact on Tableau server related incidents and service requests tickets
- Experience in installation of required software and making required configuration changes in Tableau Server
- Load management and Server Clustering health
- General Server administration knowledge on Linux, Azure & Windows.
