ETL Testing
Job Description :-
• Experience in testing databases, ETL load processes and SQL stored procedures.
• Strong SQL, Relational Databases (Oracle), PL/SQL skills. Designing simple to complex SQL queries, preferably for data reconciliation.
• Working knowledge on UNIX.
• Experience in test scripting, execution and scheduling.
• Experience in working for database and data warehouse testing and exposure to any ETL tool .
Key responsibilities
• Responsible for the test preparation and test execution on the project, including manual, database and other non-functional testing.
• Developing the test plans including the detailed test cases and ensuring maximum test coverage.
• Planning and execution of tests in an efficient and organised way.
• Accurately reporting test preparation and execution progress.
• Ensuring that testing standards, process, procedure and methodology are adhered to.
• Ability to analyse defects and spot bug trends.
• Work hand-in-hand with the development team, architects and leads.
• Verify Data reconciliation, ETL error handling, Error logging mechanisms
