CATIA CAA DEVELOPMENT

Key responsibilities include:

•         Work with engineering team leader to analyse CATIA development requirements.

•         Owns module(s) of CATIA solutions and is accountable for Right First Time deliveries

•         Design and develop stand alone or CATIA integrated applications
ranging from macro script programs, developing plugins, and performance optimizations within CATIA environment.

•         Perform solution, code and configuration management review through
tools like SVN.Provide user support, troubleshooting and maintenance for tools
developed. Adhere and propose improvement to existing processes and IT industry
best practices for code development, source code management, incident management and change control

•         Create and maintain design/testing documentation for all solutions developed / implemented.

•         Qualification: BE/BTECH or MCA with excellent academic records.

Mandatory:

•         5+ programming experience in C++ development experience (Preferably on Windows OS).

•         5+ years of experience in customizations / design automation in CATIA V5 or V6.

•         Customization experience using core libraries /API (CAA for instance CV5/CV6).

•         Customization experience using CATVBA and CATScript.

•         User Defined Features, curves and surfaces generation development experience

•         Customization experience in workbenches like Mechanical Design, Composite Design, Machining

•         Good communication skills in English. Should have good fluency in oral and written.

•         Previous experience in leading small teams

DESIRABLE:

•         Experience in Aerospace projects is an advantage.Working experience in Agile SDLC and source code maintenance in any ALM tools or configuration management tool like GIT.

•         Preparing documents like HLD, LLD and test cases for the modules developed.Concept of CATIA manufacturing part programing (composite/sheet metal/honey comb) and related customization is added value.

•         Experience on code upgrades will be added advantage
