Apache Tomcat Server Admin
• Strong knowledge in Apache/Tomcat administration and management in a Linux platform.
• Deployment of JAR/WAR/EAR files in domain and clustered environments of Tomcat Apache/JBOSS server.
• Knowledge on WebSphere and WebLogic applications. Knowledgeable of Unix/Linux servers.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker systems.
• Implement updates, upgrades, and patches in a timely manner to limit loss of service.
• Knowledge on monitoring tools like ELK, App-D, Nagios, Grafana and ticketing tools like Service Now.
• Collaborate with development teams to discuss, analyze, or resolve usability issues.
• Able to ensure server availability, identify issues and fix.
• Knowledge on Performance tuning of JVM heap size, garbage collections, java stack and Native thread production performance.
• Monitor site traffic, performance and recommends changes in site's technical architecture to ensure that website remain responsive and stable. Platform/server management, cluster / load balance set up.
• Able to provide inputs/resolve from the server point of view based on the stress, performance tests on the Application. Document installation or configuration procedures to allow maintenance and repetition.
• Coordinate daily duties with the systems administrator team.
• Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. Hands on experience in performance tuning.
• Should be able to write automation script by using any automation tools.
• DevOps automation knowledge is a plus.
