Cloud Development Architects

 Job Description:

Responsibilities:

•         Evangelize the research and evaluation of emerging cloud technologies, as well as industry and market trends to assist in product development and/or operational support activities for multiple teams or complex scenarios

•         Demonstrate a strong bias for architecture principles balanced with tactical timelines, cost and risks

•         Define architecture strategy and technical capabilities for cloud native network platforms to support both engineering and operations teams as well as product management development teams; while employing industry standards to provide a secure, innovative, and cost-effective environment to solve some of the most demanding technical challenges

•         Lead and coordinate technical domain discussions relative to current and future cloud platforms, for both engineering and operations teams and product management. Defines technical capabilities required to realize business capabilities across multiple business domains, defines architecture for those technical capabilities, and a road map for implementation

•         Provide guidance to solution architects as they work tactical engagements and take the role of solution architect for highly complex engagements, which require new platform capabilities to be defined

Required Qualifications

•         8+ years' experience in network architecture disciplines

•         Good understanding of and ability to discuss telco cloud architecture based on ETSI NFV and principles of modern platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, virtualization, microservices, service orchestration, big data, etc. 

•         Good understanding of application integration technologies as well as common enterprise architecture topics such as customer journeys, process orchestration, master data management, analytics and insights

•         Familiar with principles of network, application and information security

•         Articulate and balanced in demeanor with crisp written and verbal communication skills

•         Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodology

•         Excellent documentation, presentation, and problem solving skills
