Software Engineer Consultant/Expert

Job Description:

• Have in-depth knowledge and 5+ years of hands-on experience with multiple technology stack expertise in Business Intelligence, especially in middleware integration, cloud, API and real-time integration, data transformation and data management etc.
• Serve as a consultant to all BI development teams across enterprise globally to enable the success of the end-to-end BI development and system launch.
• Hands-on expertise to develop CI/CD solutions with DevOps tools such as Tekton, Jenkins, QuerySurge, Accurev, GitHub, etc.
• Thorough firsthand knowledge on various Google cloud services (BigQuery, PostGreSQL, Google Cloud Storage, Google load balancers, Cloud run, Cloud Scheduler etc.) along with API development and publishing process using APIGEE gateway.
• Conduct innovative PoCs for new BI technologies, capabilities, and integrations to fully leverage current tools and implement enterprise technology shifts and new trends impacting BI delivery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex BI development and performance issues.
• Modernize BI technologies, e.g., from DataStage to container-based CloudPak, from on-prem MDM to MDM SaaS, major upgrades etc.
• Drive enterprise adoption for BI technologies for significant cost savings.
• Share BI best practices and common solutions with all PDOs to eliminate duplicated effort.
• Upskilled with additional analytics tools for Data Scientists with fair understanding on its concepts and usage in Python, Dataflow, GCP AI, Kafka and NIFI.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Implement Agile practices.

 

Skills Required:

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with multiple technology stack expertise in Business Intelligence, especially in middleware integration, cloud, API and real-time integration, data transformation and data management etc.
• Experencie in GCP Cloud Data Fusion (CDF), Informatica IICS, MDM SaaS or/and CDQ are preferred.

 

Experience Preferred:

• CI/CD development; Agile practice;

 

Education Required:

• BS+ in computer science or similar
