Job description

The Tibco Administrator has to manage the Tibco BW and BC applications and Container BW which are integrated to other systems. The Tibco Administrator must work closely with Oracle Fusion Middleware admins and Oracle Database DBAs and together support Production Tibco Environments. The Tibco Administrator must work with Developers and help them resolve the day to day issues and Deploy code to PROD and Non-Prod instances.
Job Duties:

  • Installation, configuration and Administration of TIBCO Business Works (BW), Business Connect (BC) and Container Edition (BWCE).
  • Work with on-site team and Collaborate.
  • Work with developers and users to migrate code between non-production Tibco Environments.
  • Refresh of non-production Tibco instances from Production instance.
  • Troubleshoot and help resolve Tibco BW and BC issues.
  • Apply patches to the Tibco applications.
  • Manage routine Application backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Provide On-Call support to Tibco Production Systems.
  • Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of Tibco administration.
Qualifications: Knowledge:
  • Experience with TIBCO product installation and configuring core TIBCO components on multiple platforms, including UNIX Windows.
  • Experience using TIBCO Business Works, Business Connect and Container Edition.
  • Administrative experience with TIBCO application deployment by using TIBCO Administrator, AppManage and TIBCO EMS.
  • Implementation background with emphasis on SOA, distributed and event-driven computing.
  • Experience working with Web Services, ESB, SOA, distributed applications and interoperability and understanding of Web Service protocols such as SOAP and REST.
  • Knowledge of XSD, DTD, XSLT, XPATH, SOAP, and Rest.
  • Hands-on experience with message-oriented Middleware (i.e., XML, XPath, HTTP, JMS).
  • Good experience in Infrastructure setup and capacity planning.
  • Expertise in process automation and CI/CD.
  • Good Communications Skills and should be able to communicate with Client and On-site team.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of Oracle RDBMS.
  • Must have knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware Products.
  • UNIX/LINUX scripting knowledge is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of SQL including PL/SQL.
  • Willing to learn and support other related applications to SOA/BPEL and other middleware systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC models and Waterfall and / or Agile methodologies.
