Asset Manager
- Manage Asset and inventory for Campus Network and (Edge DC Network)
- Should conduct regular Network audit monthly /quarterly
- Should manage cross Network asset inventory and initiate monthly billing without fail.
- Review existing contracts and provide key insights on various contractual rights and obligations
- Analyze and Evaluate alternative solutions and recommends cost effective and efficient solutions
- Review the Audit report and compare with the internal reports and findings to ensure maximum compliance and minimum financial exposure
- Requirements gathering for software Asset management (Foundation data, Inventory management, Contracts, Software catalog, workflow etc)
- Strong customer service and excellent verbal/written communication
- Support and coordinate scheduling and execution of releases, product upgrades, new technology deployments.
- Identify license metric, version, edition, model for all products belonging to publishers based on the agreements, contracts, invoices, and any other proof of purchase provided.
- Good to have understanding on software deployment and licensing methodology to prepare compliance reporting.
- Experience in setting up software Asset Management Process for Global Customers
- strategy planning for cost savings and negotiations
- Classify software deployments into free vs paid software
