Senior Data Engineer

What You’ll be Doing –

In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in SQL, Java, Python, Linux, and ETL technologies to develop and optimize data engineering solutions. With a background in cloud computing and data storage, along with excellent scripting and coding skills, you'll implement Agile and DevOps techniques to deliver projects efficiently. Additionally, your certifications in Data Engineering and GCP Cloud Data products will enable you to utilize cutting-edge technologies in designing scalable data architectures.

You'll report to Director Data Engineering.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

•        Develop and optimize data engineering solutions using SQL, Java, Python, Linux, and ETL technologies.

•        Implement Agile and DevOps techniques to efficiently deliver projects, leveraging your background in cloud computing and data storage.

•        Utilize your scripting and coding skills to automate processes and ensure code quality.

•        Apply best practices learned from your Coursera certifications in Data Engineering and GCP Cloud Data products to design scalable data architectures and utilize cutting-edge cloud technologies.

What You Bring to the Role

•        Proven ability to code in SQL, Java,  Python, Linux and ETL technologies

•        Has background in cloud computing, data storage

•        Excellent scripting and coding skills, able to code using well defined patterns

•        Work with Agile and DevOps techniques and implementation approaches in the delivery.

•        Coursera certification in Data Engineering

•        Coursera certification in GCP Cloud Data products (e.g. BigQuery, DataFlow, Google Cloud Databases)
