Job Description

The C# Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, coding and implementation of several software package solutions. This position will work with product management and the engineering management team to review and develop technical specifications and outline programming and system requirements. Then this person will code, test, debug, document and maintain these software packages. This position will interact with a larger team of IT Support professionals, Network Security professionals, product management and other hardware and software engineering team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft software development and Microsoft operating environments. Some background in networking and Linux environments would be beneficial.

This position will develop and maintain several software packages which are included with the nAppliance security and IT product lines. These products include ASP software packages and various C++ and C# services and GUI based products. This person will be able to review and understand a requirements document, and translate this into a design specification, and execute on this design to product a finished product.

The software projects will include hardware and software monitoring systems, creating DLL plugin, XML Web Services development and general GUI and Console based applications. Some development or legacy maintenance of other software languages may be required.

Job Qualification:

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• 3+ Years software development experience
• Good knowledge of POWERSHELL and WINDOWS based GUI development
• Thorough with WCS development and creation of DLL plugins
• Hands-on experience with VB.NET, ASP.NET, C# and C++
• Web Services development including HTTP and XML
• SQL Server
• Proficient with installer packages (NSIS, Visual Studio)
• Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with all phases of software development life cycle
• Work well in Team environment
