Detailed Job Description
Design,Development and Testing multi-tier Java/J2EE applications
Primary
3 + years of hands-on experience in Java and J2EE
1+ years of hands-on experience in SQL or PL/SQL
Expertise in Java version 1.6 or higher
Expertise in J2EE version 1.3 or higher
Strong in Server side computing - servlets, EJB, JDBC
Strong in JSP
Secondary
Experience in XML, API
Experience in Weblogic/Websphere/JBOSS app server
Experience in Oracle/Sybase/SQL server – PL/SQL,database access
Experience in Rich GUI – AJAX/ExtJS/Flex
Experience in Unix shell scripting
Knowledge of Junit test , Jtest
Knowledge of Design patterns and its implementation – MVC framework
Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Knowledge of Configuration Management/release management process using tools
Experience in Performance tuning the Java application
Knowledge of development methodology
Exposure to BFSI domain(Retail
Capital markets, Corporate Banking, Insurance)
Others
Must have good written and communication skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-location teams
Ability to take on tasks independently and see them to completion
Experience in Production Support- L2 and L3
