Base Clear case engineer
Mandatory: Base Clear Case (not UCM ClearCase) : 3-4 years
• Experience in using ClearCase both at user and admin level in a MultiSite environment.
• A good grasp of ClearCase way of working with emphasis on config specs, branching, merging (all must)
• Ability to understand and implement complex ClearCase branching and merging strategies quickly.
Mandatory: Build and Release – 3 to 4 years
• Experience in build and release engineering on Base ClearCase in a MultiSite environment
• Good understanding of build and release on ClearCase OMAKE
• Ability to quickly understand and rectify omake build errors.
Mandatory: Perl Scripting – 2 years:
• Ability to understand Perl scripts written on Clear Case and omake.
• Ability to automate builds using Perl
Good to have:
• Good understanding on concepts on Continuous Integration.
• Exposure to Jenkins or any other build framework such as Build Forge, Cruise Control Electric Commander.
• Exposure to advanced ClearCase administration such as VOB movements, VOB relocation, ClearCase upgrades in a multisite environment.
