2. Expertise in visual analytics and design principles: Visual design expertise with a solid understand of the best practices around dashboard and visual perception.

 
Core: 3 years+ of experience in: 
Business Intelligence Development in Tableau Desktop and Server platforms

1. Tableau development experience and designing dashboards / decision enablement tools
   1. Solid understanding of how to consolidate and transform data to meaningful and actionable information
2. End-to-End development experience and expertise in:
   1. Using blending, sorting, filters, sets and maps in Tableau
   2. Leveraging Tableau Prep for data organization and scheduling
   3. complex calculations including Level of Detail (LOD) expressions
   4. Action filters, user filters and implement advanced dashboard practices in Tableau
   5. Worked closely with business users to create reports/dashboards using Tableau desktop.
   6. Experience on creating user groups, and scheduled instances for reports in Tableau.
   7. Building, publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards on Tableau server.
   8. Worked on Level of detail expressions and Table Calculations.

 
Business Intelligence Operations

1. Experience tuning the performance of Tableau Server dashboards to optimize client experience

 
 Data & Backend:

1. SQL Programming, PL/SQL
2. Ability to understand data modeling based on user specs

 
Others:

1. Developing rich portfolio of design uses cases demonstrating excellent user experience
2. Demonstrated ability to transform User Stories into smart and elegant analytical apps for decision making

Responsibilities: Create Prompts, Calculated Fields, customize Calculations, Conditions and Filter (Local, Global) for various analytical reports and dashboards.

1. Planning & Estimation: Provide plans and estimates for reporting initiatives
2. Collaboration & Coordination: Work directly with data engineers, business data analysts and clients throughout the entire engagement life cycle including technical analysis, design, development, implementations and consulting efforts.
   1. Facilitate group meetings of various sizes for solution design, decision making, problem-solving and solution implementation.
3. Design & Requirement Management: Work across business lines, conferring with managers and leaders to
   1. Gather requirements and specifications while developing
      1. enhanced dashboards, reports and data transformation.
4. Development: Put views together in a story, Create a Tableau report from scratch
   1. Using available data sources, create optimal data source files which are simple to use in Tableau
   2. Preparing Charts and Dashboards using Source files of multiple formats (Primary Excel)

6. Governance, Best Practices & SOPs:
   1. Incorporate data governance and access controls in Tableau
   2. Maintain standards for analysis and reporting at all levels including best practice data visualization techniques
7. Turn complex data into easy to understand visual insights that are aligned to business objectives
   1. Develop a user experience that is simple, yet flexible.
   2. Enable visual storytelling through Tableau and visual analytics tools

  Other Requirements

1. BE, B. Tech. or MBA (IT) from a reputed institute.
2. Minimum undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

Nice To Have
  Optional - Additional Skills: Experience/knowledge of the below skills will be nice to have:

1. Experience with R, Python
2. Tableau desktop and server certification
