Java developer with Struts and Spring Framework
• 6-9 Years of experience in developing & supporting Java applications
• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in middleware applications
Should have worked in an SOA environment
Should have developed & customized frameworks
Should have experience in developing & maintain business services in middleware applications.
Technical Areas
• Key skills needed - Webservice, CXF, OSGI, XSLT, MAVEN
• Strong knowledge on core Java (must be able to code for highly performance agnostic system)
• Experience in creating & customizing frameworks.
• Experience in using Struts & Spring(version 2.5+)
• Creating SOAP & REST based Webservices, Exposing webservices using SOAP/XML.
• SoapUI or any-other similar tool for testing SOAP based web services,
• Experience in Websphere configurations & deployment, MQ configurations
• SVN (Subversion)
• Tools/Technologies - Maven,ANT,Hibernate,IBATIS,Struts,Spring
• Should be able to clearly articulate pros and cons of various tools/technologies
• Troubleshooting experience including but not limited to - binding, concurrence issues, multithreading, Hibernate, using log files
• System Integration experience including but not limited to - MQ, Databases
• Configuration experience including but not limited to - Websphere, MQ, Databases
• Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Hudson/Jenkins,
• IBM MQ
• Knowledge on using WAS (Websphere Application Server)
• Solid understanding of database configurations, schemas
• Exposure to Unix
Shell scripting would be a positive
