Preferred Location :: Bangalore/Pune (Pan India will also work)
Must have:
- At least 5 years of Core DBA Skills across a core database (Sybase and SQL servers) including
* Database Installation, configuration, Patching and fixes.
* Backup and Recovery, Data Import/Export Technologies
* Database performance Tuning
* Monitoring Platforms
* Problem solving
* Database capacity planning
* Database Disaster recovery (DR) Strategy (eg: mirroring, log shipping...etc)
- OS level activities related to database tasks and windows administration
- Programming experience with Stored Procedures, Shell scripting and/or demonstrable open-source contributions.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- DR planning and testing experience
