Job Description:
Application Packaging Engineers receive requests to repackage applications which confirm to Fidelity Standards and installs without any adverse impact on the desktops they are rolled out to.
Job Essentials:
Essential
- Knowledge on Windows Operating system including Registries, Filesystem, Environment variables, services and commonly used DOS commands.
- Awareness on Windows Installer and MSI Installation technology.
- Experience on VB Scripting and different functions.
- Experience Microsoft Application sequencing
- Microsoft Technologies domain experience on both desktop and server environment.
- Troubleshooting on Windows environment.
- Basic knowledge on SCCM application deployment/testing
- Adequate written and oral communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience on PowerShell Scripting, batch scripting or any other scripting language preferred.

Job Responsibility
- Manage CIM requests created for Application packaging End to End
- Create packages based on requirements and ensure such packages are error-free and tested for both Functionality and Fidelity Standards
- Timely and proactive communication to customers on status, solutions, deadlines etc.
