Key Purpose of the Role
Key Terms of Reference:

Oracle Application Database Administrator / Consultant ( 5-10 yrs experience) with strong experience in Oracle database 10g/11g / 12c administration skills
- In depth knowledge of Database refresh and cloning and Upgrades
- Working knowledge of User/Space management , Troubleshooting, monitoring, Object management, session management
- In depth understanding of Database Tuning and capacity analysis
- Should have good understanding of Database Security , Encryption, Partitioning & networking
- Should have good understanding of Oracle Apps 11i/R12 database structures, Gather Schema Stats , FND Objects
- Experience in Patching and maintenance - using Adpatch, adconfig etc. , Concurrent Request monitoring , session mapping
- Experience in handling Unix / OS level jobs
- Experience in Database backup and recovery
- End-user interaction experience for requirements gathering from DB capacity / infra planning perspective, understanding customer needs and working with multiple groups to coordinate and carry out technical activities which include patch applications, upgrades, DB monitoring and production support activities
- Oracle certification in relevant technology will be an added advantage
- Experience in planning for Production Storage and capacity management
- Experience in working with On-premise and Cloud hosted databases
Summary Description for the Role:
The role holder is responsible for managing Oracle Applications R11i / R12 and other Oracle databases & Oracle warehouse applications within the Enterprise Management Platform.
Qualifications:
- B.E , B.Tech
- Relevant professional certifications
Skills/Experience:
- Experience 3-7 yrs
- Should have worked extensively on Oracle databases for capacity management, performance tuning , patching , installations, configurations
- Hands on experience on min 1 end to end upgrade project
- Understanding of underlying technical architecture / table structure of the Oracle E-Business Suite
- Has core DBA experience in the EBS and other oracle environment
- Strong experience in Performance tuning
- Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Has end-user interaction experience for requirements gathering from DB capacity / infra planning perspective, understanding customer needs and working with multiple groups to coordinate and carry out technical activities which include patch applications, upgrades, DB monitoring and production support activities.
