Position 1:
NWR ISB Lead
- Track record of scoping, defining and developing high performance IBM IIB solutions (500+ messages per second) on Window and Linux
- Deep experience of performance tuning IBM IIB
- Experience in complex DR deployments, performance tuning global cache across these DR deployments
- Managing IIB and IIB code to handle large and small messages at scale
- Deep understanding of Rail / IoT protocols including OSA-CBM, MQTT and ICG
- Experience in all of the following:
- IBM MQ Brokers and multi-instance
- IBM IIB eSQL
- IBM IIB Global Cache
- IBM IIB on Linux and Windows
- IBM MQ on Linux and Windows
- IIB email adapter
- MSSql Server
- Azure
- Agile tooling incl. github and jira
- Deep Java skills
- Proven ability to reverse engineer where necessary
- Work at speed and accuracy to meet set deadlines and takes accountability
- A good team player, although will also be required to be self sufficient to meet programme needs
- Team leadership and eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Position:2
NWR Solution Architect
Exp: 10+ Years
- Track record of scoping, defining and architecting large-scale or complex IT solutions that involve Wonderware, Integration Solutions (ideally IBM) and Rail IoT solutions
- Proven track record of creating the end to end solution design / functional design specification (FDS) to meet all the functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience of working with senior client architects and engineers to shape and document architectures, and functional design specifications
- Proven track record of technical and operational problem solving and troubleshooting and root cause analysis in development and test
- Be able to evaluate change requests and customer raised defects against the requirement scope of a solution and understand the impacts to design, time and cost of the change
- Deep understanding of end-to-end solutions: from the end user/customer of the service through operations to the underlying IT (application and infrastructure)
- Re-use existing assets in solution design and ensure that all work undertaken will drive to create repeatable patterns for future re-use
- Some previous hands on experience and knowledge of coding and configuring Wonderware
- Familiar with Agile ways of working and able to run daily scrum meetings
- Experience in some or all of the following technology domains:
- Aveva Wonderware
- MS SQL Server 2016, WPF , C#, webservices
- Azure
- IBM IIB
- Agile tooling incl. github and jira
