Previous experience of working for an investment bank


•           Extensive Oracle RDBMS skills


•           Installation,  management and production support of Oracle 9i,

10g, 11g

   (in production) on the following platforms – RHEL 3, 4,5 and Solaris


•           Strong  platform  skills  on  Linux,  Solaris, networking

(TCP/IP, DNS,

   onames, LDAP,OVD) experience.


•           Experience with EMC and Veritas


•           Experience with DR solutions using Clustering and SRDF


•           Oracle RAC/RMAN/OBIEE/Clustering/Replication


•           Extensive knowledge of RAC/Database running on VCS and ESX

   Cluster/Golden Gate/Streams/Application Server/DataGuard/Oracle

   Ebiz/ASM/CRS/VMWare (9i/10g/11g where applicable)


•           Change control awareness and industry best practices.


•           Backup /Recovery technologies and industry best practices
