Job Description
Position Duties:
This position will bring clinical/domain expertise in the area of validation testing and will be able to independently perform assigned project validation tasks
Responsibilities include:
- Validation of Varian products from System perspective by identifying deviation
in intended clinical user needs & per Product requirement specifications
- Effective collaboration in upstream & downstream activities of product development with product owner in terms of participation in concept validation, Usability testing & Post Implementation system testing.
- Act as an expert for other product development teams to address queries / issues related to Product and Clinical knowledge.
- Lead pre-release feature / system testing at customer test environments working very closely with Product manager, Varian Service team & Site customer representative.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of software validation records
I.e, validation test cases, installation qualifications, operational qualifications
Identify & Report defects.
- Active participation in Defect Resolution Cycle
- Active participation in the review of engineering deliverables (I.e. Product Requirements Specification, V&V plan, Validation test cases etc.)
- Prepare Validation Test reports as required.
Qualifications required:
- BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science
- Should possess domain knowledge of EMR,EHR
- Exposure or background in Hospital information system
- Should possess a detailed understanding of the latest trends and innovations within the Healthcare marketplace
- Manage validation and/or qualification aspects of multiple projects within function
- Strong understanding of Software Test Life Cycle
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Must be familiar with the SDLC in general and Testing Life Cycle in particular.
- Must poses good verbal and written communication skills
Previous Experience:
- Total 5 to 7 years of experience as a senior test engineer
- Minimum 3 years of experience in testing web base and mobile applcations
- Experience with collecting web application logs
- Expertise with AWS, cloud infrastructures is plus
- Atomation experience using selenium or UI automater is an advantage but not mandatory
- Understanding JIRA and Confluence,Quality Center work flows
- Understanding of web services standards and related technologies(JavaScript, SOAP, XML, JSON)
- Good understanding of object oriented programming, J2EE architecture, .NET, etc
- Experience working with Virtualization, such as, VMWare,Azure
- Strong in RDBMS and Demonstrated ability to (1) be analytical, (2) strong customer relationship skills, (3) strong communication skills (4) detail oriented and thorough, (
Special knowledge / skills:
Background in EMR and EHR
Language abilities:
Must be able to communicate fluently in English
