Software Developer - Java/C++

Role: Software developer
 
Mandatory Key Skills
 

1. programming in Java/C++
2. Knowledge of Database programming
3. Scritpting with most of these is desirable
   1. Shell scripting or batch file programming 
   2. PERL 
   3. Javascript  
   4. Python
   5. Ruby

 
  Good to have  Skills

• Familiar with Network device interfaces ( such as CLI ) and the provisioning of these devices
• Should be familiar with data and security services on these devices — e.g. Firewall
• Should be familiar with scripting and being able to script the CLI to automate provisioning of these devices

• Interact with Cisco customers/Partners
• Contribute to / be part of onsite implementation/delivery of Cisco cloud solution.
• Troubleshoot  software solution/ customer reported problem inquiry and resolution of the same.

 
Education: BE /MCA/ Master’s degree in computer science
Experience:  at least 6-8 years of experience in software development/support.
Related Certifications – OCJP ( preferred )
Generic skills:
 

• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to automate using native scripts
• Ability to propose design and work with distributed teams
