JD :
6 to 60 Months of experience in iSeries IT Infrastructure
Admin and troubleshooting Skills of AS400 Operating System.
Operating System (general), iACS, BRMS, HMC, TCP/IP, Disk configuration.
Performing system IPL.
Installing PTF s (Program Temporary Fixes), License Keys and Software Licensed Programs.
Good hands on experience of performing OS upgrade and should be able to drive the upgrade strategies and planning.
Good hands on experience of Third party software upgrades such as iHA, Connect:DIRECT, OnDemand Report Archiving tool, PowerLock, IWS, CDC.
Good hands on experience of HMC code, processor firmware upgrade.
Good hands on experience on Disk storage and experience/knowledge of DS microcode upgrade.
Good knowledge or experience of SAN switch code upgrade.
Creation of Controllers, Display devices, Printer devices, Remote output queues.
Creation of Subsystems and working with subsystem entries.
Knowledge/experience of CL/RPG Programming.
Knowledge/Experience in iSeries Performance Management.
Knowledge of iASP.
Should possess industry standard certifications for iSeries, desirable but not a must.
Knowledge of JIRA, confluence, Kanban.
Should be well versed with ITIL concepts and more specific understanding of Service operations activities.
Worked in an infrastructure critical environment and understands how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer.
Ability to work effectively as a team player.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Banking domain experience will be added advantage.
Experience with standard change, incident and problem management process.
Willingness to work 24x7 and in flexi hours including on-call rotation, weekend or night support, etc.
Must be able to perform well as a member of a larger team.
Ability to establish mutual expectations with clients is required. Ensuring that the processes are adhered to.
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) are critical for success in this job.
Must be motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks.
