Peoplesoft Senior Consultant/ System Administrator/ Technology Architect
Focus/area :
- Root Cause Analysis experience.
- Performance Management.
- Administration of Linux and Windows, Oracle
- System Copy experience.
- Experience with standards-based application and tools installs (v8.x, v9.x) – minimum 2 preferred
- Experience with application and tools upgrades – minimum 2 preferred
- Experience applying maintenance packs, bundles, patches, and tax updates
- Experience with project migrations to include project builds
- Experience with Change Assistant
- Experience with setup and use of the PeopleSoft Update Manger (PUM)
- Knowledge of and experience with the PeopleTools Integration Broker, Notification (REN) Server, and Process Scheduler
- Experience with Secure Enterprise Search or Elastic Search setup and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer Service orientation
Major Duties: Provide system administration and technical support for the PeopleSoft application
Using best-practices install and maintain the PeopleSoft application environment, integrated functionality, and additional external applications and functions
Build relationships with the client technical and end-user community
Create and maintain process and system architecture documentation for the PeopleSoft environment
Provide subject matter expertise and work alongside client developers and business analysts to communicate capabilities and limitations of the PeopleSoft system.
Desired:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator
- Working knowledge of the Functional side of PeopleSoft 8.x/9.x HCM, FSCM application modules; other modules a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix-based operating systems
- Familiarity with WebLogic middleware beyond functionality required by the PeopleSoft application
- Experience with Crystal Reports
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database applications
- Experience with User Productivity Kit (UPK) installation, configuration, and content update
