Background
Experience: 6- 12 years' experience supporting post-sales enterprise client/server architecture along with a strong knowledge of server hardware setup and troubleshooting expertise. Medical IT healthcare background required
Education: Technical Bachelor's Degree or related industry discipline or equivalent related experience / education; Master's degree in related discipline desired
Certification: Technical certification required
Technical Skills:
Extensive experience with installation and configuration of appropriate operating systems and applications to possibly include: Windows Server 2003 / 2008, Linux Red Hat 4.7, SQL Server 2005 / 2008, Oracle application server and Oracle Real Application Cluster (Oracle OAS, RAC, ASM, and FRA). Thorough knowledge of supporting hardware and firmware requirements for the appropriate solution. General knowledge of clinical environment and use of solution to support customer facing applications
Familiarity with a scripting language (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.) to automate commonly repeated tasks.
VCE Process
Complete build and post-install VCE checklist; make inputs to enhance combined application build process and VCE process.
Build Process
Build and run tech live checklists on all variations of both the RIS and PACS solution; act as advisor to the field/customer regarding advanced/complex solution questions; troubleshoot advanced hardware, operating system, and appropriate software application issues, create/update internal and external facing build process documentation
Training
Develop and deliver content to train new hires on all appropriate processes, procedures, and skills to learn Systems Engineer 3 and Systems Engineer 4 positions
Administrative
Completes and submits all assigned administrative tasks in a timely manner; assists others with completion of administrative tasking's
