• 4 years of relevant experience with designing and implementing enterprise level Azure Data Engineering solutions 
• Experience in Microsoft Azure technologies – Azure Data Warehouse (Synapse Analytics)/ Azure Data brick/ Azure Data factory/Azure Datalake
• Experience in SQL Server implementation
• Experience in writing complex T-SQL queries, Polybase experience
• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation processes
• Experience in implementing HD Insight
• Hands on experience in one of the scripting language or framework like spark/Scala/python/R

Desired
• Azure200 certification
• Azure administration and cost control
• Design relational and non-relational data stores
• Design security for source data access
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to the team of BI developers
• At least one implementation knowledge of Azure DW, Azure Data brick, Data factory and Azure Datalake
