Technical Writer

 

Technical Writer-

•         Work closely with software and operations staff to produce software documentation, including guides, process documents, online help

•         Work with product management to understand the behavior and nuances of our products

•         Actively contribute to the creation and enforcement of a standard terminology for all software components

•         Candidate must be able to pick up technical subject matter quickly and ask the questions needed to determine the relevant aspects of the process/product

•         Prior experience in working for the healthcare industry would be an advantage.

•         Ability to work in an organized manner and be responsible for quality output

•         Identify and implement best practices to ensure high quality documentation distributed in a timely and appropriate manner.

What you'll bring:

•         2 to 4 years industry experience with an analytical bent of mind and the ability to understand complex technical documents and programming logic, and an excellent command over the English Language with good comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar

•         Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

•         Strong written and verbal communication skills

•         Knowledge of MS Office, HTML, XML, Snag IT.

Nice to have:  

•         Previous experience in creating user guide and API guide for a product-based company

•         Understands validation concepts in order to produce documentation for validated systems.

•         Understanding of Scrum and Agile Methodologies

•         Experience reading use cases / user stories

•         Experience with Jira/Confluence

•         Experience with instructional design, e.g., creating video overviews
