Desktop Support Engineer

Job description:

- IT/IS administration, OSS (Onsite Support), local/site contact point of 3rd party vendor, hands and eyes support for operations, first point of contact for incidents/requests reported from users

- Corporate Standard PC provisioning, troubleshooting, Imaging/staging, Software Installation. Supporting the roll-out of new applications - Mobile device(Smartphone, Tablets) provisioning, troubleshooting, corporate mobile application support(google apps, MDM, CRM etc) - Support printers/MFPs such as troubleshooting, driver configuration

- Control IS/IT asset registration/decommissioning lifecycle, loan/lost equipment management

- Support meeting room/video room/conferencing environment (video conference, soundstation, TVs, Projector, telepresence etc)

- Support perimeter security CCTV surveillance and physical access control system

- Support troubleshooting, simple introduction/training, installation, configuration for corporate stand software

- Support new staff onboard/move/leave process coordinated with HR

- Managing IS/IT service access/account/mailboxes

- Event management for System service devices, handing/raise a ticket to 3rd party vendors

- Enable workstation operation management (patching/update/software roll out etc)

- Managing office standard file sharing functionalities

- Managing workstation device data loss protection service/platform

- Event management for Telecom service devices, handing/raise a ticket to 3rd party vendors

- Hands and eyes monitoring LAN devices.

- Managing audio, video, web conferencing capabilities with 3rd party

- Support, troubleshooting and managing corporate standard IP telephone system/services

- Managing Solvay site user access to Solvay internal network resources

- Managing mobile device security and operation management functions
