We as a network design community is located in different units across the globe. In India, we are having 500+ designers working from two different locations. • To be Digital Leaders   What I'll be doing – your accountabilities Skills required for the job

• Lead and implement the design and development of network solutions for Data Center Infrastructure areas.
• Leads complex DC/ Cloud infrastructure (network, storage and compute) design/implementation and migration.
• Participate in work stream planning process, including inception, technical design, development, testing and delivery of network solutions Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve high severity issues or problems.
• Create and review network schematics, diagrams, and other program documentation to assist with development and preparation of cost estimates, and review vendor proposals.
• Understand network requirements and provide High Level Design and Low Level Design.
• Plans and execute complex Network Upgrades and Network Migration activities
• Could lead on a specific deliverable of a medium/complex scale project within a work package
• To champion and specify the use of BT's strategic Choices for Design Tools, Systems and Templates across various teams
• Lead the initiatives in looking for efficiencies in designs through use of patterns and templates, rather than bespoke requests
• Should have strong desire to learn & catch up with new products, technologies & services in the field of data networking

 
 
 
 

• Provide Planning, Designing, and Implementation around Cisco's / Juniper DC products and solutions.
• Juniper DC products MX Series and EX or QFX Series
• Mandatory technical skills required :

Nexus Products (N7K, N5k, N2k, N1kV), Catalyst products (95xx, 65xx, 49xx switches)
Protocols :
EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, MP-BGP, Multicast, AnyCast, DSCP/QoS, EVPN, VxLAN, OTV.

• Deep understanding of Routing protocols, ability to plan, prioritize, organize, schedule and execute assignments
• Strong analytical skills, with strong problem-solving capability.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Basic level of understanding on Load balancers like F5 /ACE
• Basic level understanding on Firewall (ASA/Checkpoint/Palo Alto/SRX)

• At least 2-5 yrs of direct, hands-on experience in Network design and Implementation on Datacenter product lines (Cisco: Data Center Product Line: ACI, Nexus Products or Juniper Data Centre Products: QFX. Q Fabric).
