Principal Consultant, Java
Responsibilities
• Responsible for providing Enhancement & Development services in a Java/Database environment during regular India hours.
• Candidate will be working with SMEs, Business Analyst, module developers & Users complete end-to-end SDLC for Capital Market Client.
• Responsibilities shall include contributing in designing and documenting of the software architecture based on existing architecture and inputs received from Client from time to time.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing and UAT as and when required.
• Engage with Client in requirement gathering, Status update on deliverables, UAT and be the key stakeholder in the overall engagement.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
• BE/B Tech/MCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical Professional, with proven abilities in the areas of Java development and implementation.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with the Java platform and frameworks: Java 8, Spring Framework, Junit, Apache Ivy, Cucumber
• Strong enterprise UI development background in Angular/ HTML5
• Working RDBMS experience in Sybase/DB2
• Relevant Java experience in Spring, Spring boot and creating/interfacing with RESTful/SOAP services.
• Hands-on technologist with exposure to all the aspects of SDLC, exposure to design patterns.
• Experience in development/support/productionizing of robust, large-scale systems.
• Highly proficient in written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Exposure to Agile and devops (CI/CD/automated testing/blue green deployments) is a plus.
• Working experience in TDD, Jasmine/Karma for development and support of applications
