Test Software Development Engineer- Automation (Python)5-10years. Brief JD given below.

• Degree in Elect/Eletronics/Computer science
• 4-7y experience test software development/scripting/test automation in embedded / RTOS field
• High proficiency in Python & C/C++ programming in embedded/Linux environment
• Strong work experience on microprocessor and microcontroller based embedded system architecture
• Good knowledge on any of the processor architecture ARM(Cortex series), ARC, PPC, Tensilica, etc…
• Pre-silicon and post-silicon SoC validation skills; Test development with scripting expertise, Python is preferred
• Strong debug skills using Protocol Analyzer, JTAG, LA, Oscilloscope and understand HW schematics
• Work experience in storage domain especially with UFS protocol background is highly pref
Sr Development Engineer - Python, C++ firmware4-8 Years

Sr. Dev. Engineer - Python Automation with C++ firmware (embedded)

Responsibility:
• Test framework development for Product validation ( SD/micro SD – DVT/Chz on SDR Platform)
• Test requirements analysis
• Understand the SD Spec including all the Test Guideline for test case implementation
• Implement test cases/libraries in Python, C++ from scratch [Entirely new tests] for complete test coverage Including Host scenarios/corner case/out of specification scenarios
• Verification and Validation in SDR test environment
• Develop the documentation; Design document/Test Plan to be delivered for each of the python tests
• Work with FW, FPGA, CTF team & Test Automation team for test code integration into CTF framework & test automation respectively
• Quality process adherence for test code development and integration
• Working with other related product groups as Validation, Systems, FPGA Systems, HW, SW, Test Automation etc. to provide and take inputs regularly
• On a need basis should get involved in Design/FW development/Debugging for UHS-II Test platform
• Failure analysis, bug fixing, defect tracking, configuration management
Primary technical skills requirement:
• 4-8years hands on Python/C++ tests development & Product validation experience in the Embedded domain
• Systems knowledge and hands on exposure with test environments for controllers, HW, board level knowledge & debugging
• Strong experience with test automation, test code optimization & test code porting on HW platforms
• System level knowledge of micro-SD/SD would be an added advantage
• Experience in developing Test plans, Design documentation, Report generation & Configuration management
• Python scripting/V&V process, Test Automation
• Good exposure to ARM/ARC/MIPS processor architecture/multi core processors/microcontrollers/FPGA Firmware development
• System level domain knowledge/electrical background (enable board level debugging, logic analyzer, signal timing etc.)
