QA Engineer

Job Description:

•         Working as part of ourtesting team, you will search for, investigate, report, and track issues.

•         Your duties willinclude insuring the scalability, availability, fault-tolerance of the nextgeneration in video social networking products.

•         Both black and whitebox testing following both existing test plans and test plans that you write,designing new test cases, operating and creating automated test suites, andanalyzing defect reports.

Important Roles & Responsibility:

•         Work with project managers, developers, and business users todetermine test requirements for web-based applications.

•         Create repeatable and robust automated test scripts utilizingfunctional test tools such as HP WinRunner/QuickTest Pro (QTP).

•         Interact and coordinate efforts with geographically diverse teams.

•         Track and analyze test results and work closely with developers toisolate and reproduce defects.

•         Interact closely with members of cross-functional teams forproject success.

•         Communicate status & issues in a timely fashion and manage escalationsappropriately.

•         Previous experience asa QA Engineer on highly available, highly scalable, fault tolerant web-basedservices.

•         Significant experiencewith creating and coordinating automated testing efforts using HP/MercuryWinRunner/QuickTest Pro (QTP).

•         Load/performancetesting experience using LoadRunner.

•         Developing test plan /test cases, generating test reports and bug tracking management.

•         Basic understanding ofcode release management and defect tracking processes and tools.

•         Knowledge of VBScript,Ruby, Javascript, XML, HTML, SQL, and Flash player is a plus.

•         Ability to work onmultiple projects under tight deadlines and changing priorities.

•         Excellent database& SQL skills.

•         Web services testingis necessary.
