Purpose of your role

The main function of this department is to maintain Fidelity infrastructure and involved in BizTalk Administration activities. Support to the non-production and production environments. Application Development team developing processes for different Fidelity internal line of businesses. They will also be accountable and responsible for co-ordination with various development and support teams inside Fidelity across India and UK.

In order to provide support and services to customers, the successful candidate will be required to work UK or India business hours. Additional support outside these hours may also be required (including some weekend working).


Your key accountabilities

1. BizTalk installation, Configuration, and sometimes deployment of large scale BizTalk solutions.

2. Proactively monitor health of BizTalk servers installed and take appropriate preventative actions

3. Develop tool, metrics, and report to effectively monitor BizTalk server health.

4. Define topology and specifications based upon new business requirement, including scale-out architectures for large installations

5. Effectively troubleshoot using tools such as BizTalk Admin Console, Perfmon, SQL Profiler, Event Viewer, IIS logs, DTC etc. to solve issues with WCF, IIS (including slowness), slow file import performance, file import map issues/data truncation, bottlenecks in the system such as with SQL and Windows Server

6. Perform problem resolution and root cause analysis, spot trends and recommend and implement preventive techniques

7. Design, install, tune, maintain and monitor BizTalk databases, products, logs and services; including, but not limited to, storage management, BizTalk performance tuning, BizTalk software debugging, backup and recovery, and change/configuration maintenance

8. Work closely with development and implementation teams to design and implement overall application configuration, associated support tools and processes

9. Provide technical consulting in identifying, implementing and supporting new BizTalk functions

10. Ensure standardization of systems implementation, support techniques, and adherence to formal processes, change control, best practices, and total quality practices in all activities

Job Requirements
Your skills and experience

Preferably from a support background with strong knowledge on BizTalk (Administration), Database and Windows Server
